DR. AARON THOMPSON, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Dr. Aaron Thompson has a passion for helping individuals return to the activities they love through evidence-based orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. He brings a thoughtful, individualized approach to care that emphasizes functional strength, movement quality, and long-term performance.
In his own words:
"As a licensed physical therapist with a passion for the outdoors, I specialize in helping active individuals and athletes return to their fields of play, the mountains, trails, and everything in between. I hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University and have experience in outpatient orthopedics, strength and conditioning, and integrated wellness settings like the YMCA.
I focus on evidence-based rehab tailored to runners, cyclists, outdoor athletes, and high school athletes across a range of sports. As a former CrossFit coach with a background in strength and conditioning, I bring a performance-based lens to rehab—emphasizing functional movement, durability, and long-term athletic development. Whether it’s rehabbing from injury or optimizing movement for adventure, I believe physical therapy should support the lifestyle you live for."
His primary interest is strength and performance training for our athletes helping them get back to what they truly want to do.
Outside the clinic, you’ll catch him riding the trails of Galbraith and exploring Bellingham on his mountain bike or having great adventures with his family!

ALICIA BROWDER, PTA
Physical Therapy Assistant | Certified Running Coach
Alicia is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with over 10 years of outpatient orthopedic experience, specializing in working with runners, endurance athletes, and active adults. She graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Western Washington University. She brings a rare combination of clinical expertise and real-world athletic knowledge — as a UESCA-certified Running Coach and Trail & Ultra Running Coach, she understands the demands placed on athletes far beyond the walls of the clinic.
At Praxis, Alicia focuses on individualized rehabilitation built around each patient's goals. Her approach combines objective exercise progression, movement assessment, manual techniques, and blood flow restriction training — all anchored by the communication and rapport that drive real adherence and long-term outcomes.
Whether guiding a post-op athlete through return-to-sport milestones or helping a trail runner build back from injury, Alicia believes rehab shouldn't just restore function — it should restore the lifestyle patients love.
Outside the clinic, you'll find Alicia logging miles on the trails and roads herself — living the same active lifestyle she helps her patients get back to.
